The KU baseball season has come to a close after an 8-0 loss to fourth-seeded Pitt-Johnstown on Saturday. The PSAC Champion and sixth-seeded Golden Bears started the NCAA Division II North Atlantic Regional Tournament with a heartbreaking 5-3 loss to top-seeded West Chester before beating second-seeded West Virgina State 2-1 to stay alive on Friday. The Golden Bears end the 2008 season with a 31-26 record.
Shippensburg went on to defeat West Chester for the Regional title in a decisive game seven.
