Gameday

There is a lot going on today in the world of vital KU Sports.

The basketball teams will be taking on West Chester at Keystone Hall. You can listen to my live broadcast of the game on the Golden Bear Network starting at 12:50 p.m.

Meanwhile, the softball and baseball teams are kicking off their 2008 seasons. Since this is pretty much preseason ball, I'll hold off on extensive previews until later this month.

Saturday's Schedule:

Baseball

Softball

@USC-Aiken Tournament in Aiken, S.C.
1 p.m. - vs. UNC-Pembroke
3 p.m. - vs. Augusta St.
5 p.m. - vs. Columbus St.

Women's Basketball

Good Luck Mercedes on scoring your 1000th point. Maybe if Weidensaul would pass you the ball instead of forcing so many bad shots you would have had it already!!! BUT of course she also wants her 1000th!

Malouf must have thought the same way I did...she sat W. until Mercedes got her 1000...in fact she sat her most of the game. They young ones almost worked today...should have kept them in this time.
