Both the KU men's and women's teams blew second half leads, allowing Cheyney to come away with two big PSAC East wins.
The women led throughout their game, building leads of as many as 14 in the second half. However, the Wolves erased the deficit in the final minutes of the second half before dominating KU in overtime. The 77-66 loss drops KU to 2-3 in the PSAC East and allows Cheyney to take over sole possession of third place in the divisional race at 3-3.
The men's game saw several lead changes throughout the night, but the Wolves took care of business in the final minutes, building enough of a lead to hold on for a 81-75 win. The KU loss allows Cheyney to leapfrog them to first in the PSAC East at 5-1. KU falls to second place at 4-1.
Check in tomorrow for further details. Next up is a trip to ESU on Wednesday.
